The LFR Distinctive

With a combination of high energy recreation, life-changing messages, soul-transforming small group Bible Studies, one-on-one conncetions with camp counselors, and Christ exalting praise and worship, the week at Lake Forest Ranch will make an eternal impact.
Pow Wows (worship services) each day feature some of the country’s most gifted and interesting presenters of God’s Truth for both the junior and youth campers. Each morning there will be a chance to spend time alone with God. Bible study, rich singing, and many more activities serve to build the faith of kids in an environment of nonstop enjoyment.
The great thing about all our camps is that each camper will get to spend one-on-one time with a counselor who is ready to share the love of Christ with them. This chance for each child to see, know, and spend time with a great example of walking the Christian faith is what Lake Forest Ranch was created for.

The LFR Summer Staff

The quality of our leadership definitely matters to us! We select our staff from a large number of applicants from all over the country. Our summer camp counselors must have completed a minimum of 2 years of college (or be the equivalent age), and they are carefully and prayerfully chosen for their spiritual maturity and love for children and youth.

The staff goes through extensive pre-summer training, and they each make sure that the campers who are their guests each week have role models to follow who love Christ, love people, and who know how to have a lot of fun.

Every activity is supervised by certified and/ or highly trained people. You can be assured that each staff member will give his/ her all to insure campers the best camp experience possible.

Who We Are

Lake Forest Ranch is non-profit and interdenominational and is a good fit for campers from evangelical backgrounds (Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Bible Church, Evangelical Free, and the like). But campers who have no church background at all will find summer camp at LFR to be a blast too!

Our summer camps are co-ed, and we offer eight Junior Camps, four Youth Camps, and one Senior High/ College Mission Camp.
