"I loved God growing up, but LFR was where I fell in love with God. My first summer on staff at LFR completely changed my life. It was the first time I was surrounded by people who whole-heartedly followed Christ. And it shattered my world in the best way possible— so that God could rebuild it. I learned how to walk closely with God, to commune with Him daily, to be in love with Him. Indescribable joy and peace flooded my life, and it didn’t remain at camp, it followed me. Because, it was the incredible work of God that worked in me through the vessel of LFR."

"As a child, LFR left a profound impact on me. Our church would come to LFR from Louisiana. I got to attend LFR a couple of times as a camper until my family moved to South Dakota. But, that didn’t stop my parents from making sure we would still be able to attend camp! LFR was so special to us that we even came to camp when we lived in South Dakota! I truly believe that is a testimony of how special LFR is."
