Year-End Update
“This has been a year of answered prayers and fruitful ministry as we witnessed many campers trust Jesus!“
looking back
As the year comes to a close, we are filled with gratitude for all that God has done through the ministry of Lake Forest Ranch in 2024. This has been a year of answered prayers and fruitful ministry as we witnessed many campers trust Jesus! It was a joy to see how the Father worked as the Gospel was clearly shared, our staff served with humility, and campers were invited to trust and obey Christ. None of this would have been possible without your faithful support—through your prayers, your financial gifts, and your encouragement to our staff team.
This year, we witnessed God’s hand at work in meaningful ways:
Salvation: Nearly 1600 campers heard the Gospel of Jesus and were invited to respond. 60 of them did! We rejoice in these new brothers and sisters!
Churches Served: 92 churches attended summer camp. Most of these represent relationships LFR has had for many years. Additionally, we hosted 35 churches and ministries during our retreat season.
Winter Family Camp: Our first ever Winter Family Camp was a hit! We hope this will become a beloved LFR tradition.
These remind us of the eternal impact this ministry is making, and we rejoice in knowing that God uses partners like you to make it all possible.
looking
forward
As we look forward to 2025, we are excited for what is ahead:
Expanding our outreach to invite new churches to summer camp and for retreat season. We don’t want to miss an opportunity to serve, and we want to see our camp cabins full! We hope to serve 10 new churches in 2025.
Plans for a new Pavilion are underway. We will soon begin raising money to build an open-air pavilion over the existing pickleball court. This will give us a covered area to escape rain and give shade for camp gatherings.
Summer staff hiring is in full swing. There are several key positions that still need to be filled. If you know of a young person who is willing to serve, grow in their faith, and minister to kids and teens, let us know!
We need your continued support! Your prayers strengthen and encourage us, and your faithful giving provide the resources needed to carry out this mission. As you give to camperships, the pavilion project or to simply help us keep the lights on, we are grateful. Together, we can offer Christ-exalting programming and ensure that camp is accessible to everyone.
Thank you for being a vital part of this ministry. We are deeply blessed by your generosity and commitment. May God richly bless you and your family as we celebrate the birth of our Savior and enter a new year of “building relationships for eternal impact”.
